A Note From The Editors:
Welcome to the premier edition of About Website Management, the foremost resource for web business and publication! We think you will find this ezine both useful and entertaining. We have included articles for a wide range of website management and promotion issues, forums for your use that we hope will become leading communities for discussion on topics ranging from SEO to content management, to e-commerce, and more.
We have also included several product reviews for software that can make your life easier (or more difficult!)... we hope you enjoy them. One of the more entertaining and useful (is that possible?) aspects of this site is your ability to add commentary to articles in the ancient talmudic tradition. This, we hope, will encourage debate on topics and keep all of our contributing authors honest!
The site will be updated as we collect and edit materials, but the forums will be adding content as fast as you can type, so check back frequently.
We look forward to a long relationship with you, our partners... have fun, learn, and participate...

New Media Part 1: An Introduction
|
Contributed by Paul Silver
on Saturday October 2, 2004 12:01AM
Most of us have heard or read about “New Media” but what exactly do we mean by the term? Vast amounts of Wall Street capital have been expended on it. Much of that capital has been lost. But there is still a great deal of noise regarding these newest media. Why all the hoop-la?
This article comprises part one, the introduction, of a series of articles on the social, economic, psychological, and philosophical impact of interactive media on today's global civilization.
The remaining parts will be published in sequence, as they are made available to AWM. The author welcomes comment.
